Roly the Poly
Roly is an unkown creature that landed on Earth 17 years ago. In summer
of 2006, scientists noticed a new star had suddenly appeared in the night
sky. Curiously, none of their instruments could detect it, leaving them with
no data on the phenomenon. 6 months later, the mysterious star disappeared.
At the same time, a freak lightning strike was reported in the forests of South
Korea.
When local firefighters went to put out the blazes, they discovered a small creature
sleeping in the center of the strike. It woke up and smiled happily at them. After,
it was taken to local scientists to try and discover the origin. Although they were
unable to do so, the creature proved to be harmless and carefree, only wanting to play
silly games. It was named Roly and to this day remains in South Korea, having become
the star of a popular children's show, "Roly the Poly".
Roly is a happy-go-lucky, incredibly friendly creature. He resembles a lavander sphere
with a single antennae, two wheels, and a cartoonish smile. Roly spends his days either
recording for his show or wandering the streets of Seoul, bringing joy to all who meet him.
